"Cellar Door" is part of the Harvest Series. The original 20"' x 30" watercolor was inspired by a scene of newly washed apples drying in a colander and a bushel basket. The long shadows on an old rusty farm cellar door were a dramatic sight on an sunny autumn day.
Susan's work "Cellar Door" was the recipient of a "1st Place" Ribbon in Long Island's South Bay Art Association's annual juried show.
